김국 Korean style dried seaweed soup

Ingredients

-3 dried seaweed sheets

-3 cups of water

-1 egg

-2 tablespoon of minced green onion

-1 tablespoon of Hyangshin sauce for soup

-1 teaspoon chopped garlic

-1/4 teaspoon of sesame oil

-1/4 teaspoon of salt (optional)

 

Directions

1. In a pan, put 3 cups of water to boil on high. Meanwhile, tear the seaweed sheets into little pieces. 

2. Whisk the egg.

3. Once the water starts to boil, put the dried seaweed pieces, 1 tablespoon of Hyangshin sauce for soup and the garlic in it and cook for three minutes at medium-high.

4. After three minutes, add the egg gently, then wait for a few seconds and mix mildly; cook for another two minutes, and then add two tablespoons of minced green onion and adjust the saltiness of the soup; if need it, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt; cook for one more minute, the turn off the  heat.

5.Before serving, add 1/4 teaspoon of sesame oil on the top.
