굴전 Korean style oyster schnitzels

Ingredients

-1/4 cup flour

-1/2 tablespoon minced red hot pepper

-1/2 teaspoon salt

-1 whisked big egg

-2 tablespoon minced green onion

-170 g oysters

 

Directions

1. Wash the oysters in cold water, then let them drain. 

2. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of salt over the oysters and mix gently, then set them aside while you are preparing the rest of the ingredients.

3.  Mince green onion so that you obtain 2 tablespoons and hot red pepper to obtain 1/2 tablespoon. 

4. Mix the whisked egg with the minced vegetables and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. 

5.  Roll the oysters in flour, then dip them in the egg mixture so that they are well covered. 

6. Pan-fry the schnitzels in a generous preheated amount of oil on medium to high; when the both sides of every schnitzel are golden-brown, they are done. Enjoy!
