Main ingredients

-1/2 cup of white flour (+3/8 teaspoon of salt)

-3 eggs (+3/8 teaspoon of salt)

-cooking oil

 

Ingredients for meat

-250 g of beef sliced in thin strips

-1 tablespoon of soy sauce

-1 tablespoon of minced green onion

-1 teaspoon of minced garlic

-1 teaspoon of sugar

-1 teaspoon of cooking wine/water

-1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

-1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

 

Directions

1.  Cut the meat în 3.5x7.5 cm strips. You can use any other kind of meat, and if you are vegetarian, you can use firm tofu or mushrooms instead of meat in this recipe.

2. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients for meat, aside from meat strips.

3. In the sauce obtained at (2) put the meat strips and let them to marinate for at least 20 minutes. If you do not have enough time for this step, you can season the meat with bulgogi sauce or  simply with black pepper and salt.

4. In a large, deep bowl put the flour together with 3/8 teaspoon of salt (and mix them), and in another large, deep bowl break and mix 3 eggs with 3/8 teaspoon of salt.

5. After the meat has marinated for at least 20 minutes, roll the meat strips in the flour bowl, and then in the egg bowl so that they are evenly covered with flour and egg.

6. Fry the schnitzels in a pan with a generous quantity of cooking oil at medium-high until every schnitzel gets a golden-brown colour on its both sides. Enjoy!
