표고버섯 전 Korean style stuffed mushrooms

Main ingredients

-1 egg

-3 tablespoons of flour

-10 fresh (shiitake) mushrooms

-cooking oil

 

Ingredients for beef

-2/3 cup of ground beef

-1/2  tablespoon of soy sauce

-1 generous teaspoon of sugar

-1 tablespoon minced green onion

-1 tablespoon of minced garlic

-1/6 teaspoon of black pepper

 

Directions

1. In a bowl, put all the ingredients for the beef, mix them all and then let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, remove the stems of the mushrooms and cover each one with flour.

3. After the meat has marinated at least 30 minutes, stuff every mushroom with beef mixture, press over each mushroom so that the beef will stick to it, and then sprinkle some flour over them.

4. Whisk the egg with 1/8 teaspoon of salt, then roll the mushrooms in the egg mixture so that they are evenly covered with it. 

5. Place the mushrooms in a pan with pre-cooked oil with the beef side down and cook for five minutes at medium, then flip the mushrooms on the other side and fry for another five minutes. Enjoy!
